A little bit about me... I love entertainment and media. I love binge watching TV shows. I love going to the movie theatre. I love listening to my favourite songs on an endless loop. I love going to concerts. I love doom scrolling on TikTok and trying to recreate the latest viral trend. I love screaming at my TV when the Toronto Blue Jays are losing. I'll buy anything Rihanna is selling. And I LOVE to yap about my favourite things to whoever will listen. I got into my career in communications and journalism in the hopes of finding a job that would let me tell stories about the things I love for the rest of my life. I did that. Alongside my news partner in crime Nicole Martin, I pitched, launched, and branded a broadcast news program at CHCH TV that allowed me to talk about and dive deeper into whatever the daily top trends online were - a true dream. Now, I'm looking to level up. I want to continue producing high quality content that works with multiple forms of media, whether that be in news, social media, or marketing. I have skills in social media / SEO, copywriting, copy editing, TV production, media / public relations, project management, and content management. I also excel at content creation like making accessible content, video recording and editing, radio broadcast production, TikTok and Reels creation, and graphic design. I'm passionate about storytelling, and I'm eager to continue to do so in a new and exciting capacity.
